HISTORY
Created in 1991, GEBE2 is dedicated to the design and maintenance of automated machines in the food industry, cosmetics and furniture sectors.
Rapidly, the company decided to specialize in polyurethane foaming facilities. Over the following years, the business continued to develop and build up a strong skills base, gaining a reputation as a benchmark player in PU foam technologies. At the time, GEBE2’s customer base mainly comprised automotive OEMs manufacturing dashboards or foamed interior parts.
In 2007, following market trends, GEBE2 decided to shift its business focus and use its experience in robotics to deploy a win-back strategy targeting the food industry, Composites and General Industry sectors.
The business quickly diversified by moving into the development of robotic cells for two processes in particular:
- The machining of composite materials, intended for the Aeronautics and Automotive markets
- High-speed products picking, mainly for the food industry market…
In 2014, GEBE2 became a subsidiary of the Europe Technologies Group, thus allowing it to develop at a faster pace.
Following this merger, and in order to satisfy its strong growth dynamic, in the summer of 2017, GEBE2 moved into a new building in St Hilaire de Loulay.
